Doodling My Days Away: An Art Experiment

With the copious amount of free time I have, I decided to try my hand at doodling a little. I have seen beautiful drawings online, and Pinterest is such a great source of inspiration. I find that drawing helps to relax me a great deal, and sometimes I even surprise myself with how much my brain can conjure up if I let it take the creative reigns. So today, I thought I would share a few of my drawings with you and I would love to hear if you have tried doodling and if so, how did you find it?

For the following drawings, I used the Pilot V7 Hi-Tech Point Pen in Black and the Stabilo Pen68 in Black as well.

The drawing above I drew for a friend who is looking to get a tattoo done in the same way. I decided to with a simple aesthetic of clean lines and subtle stars at the very top.

The second image is just a simple concept of dream land as I thought of it: majestic mountains floating on clouds with clear skies above.

And lastly, I penned a series of simple nature drawings with shading on hills and mountains and simple trees to convey a scene similar to something you might find near a lake or near a river. I added in tents to add a sense of human occupation within the images as well.
