It’s scary to think that I am officially in the last month of my summer holidays and that Christmas is only five months away! (Cue panic). But with the passing of another month comes a whole horde of products and pieces that I’ve had a thing for, so today, although a little unoriginal, I thought I’d share them with you! I love reading favourites posts so I thought someone out there might enjoy this too! So dig in people:
Beam Me Up Scotty:
This Top Shop highlighter in “Horizon” is all kinds of heart-eye-emoji! Super pigmented, ridiculously glowy, buttery, smooth and creamy (I could go on…), this highlighter applied like a dream and gives me super twinkly cheeks. And with a pretty lovable price tag, throw it into your shopping bag next time you’re in Top Shop. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
The Little Mermaid Spectrum:
Okay, how cute is this brush?! I mean I’m sure that Ariel has a whole stash of these hidden away down under [a stash of beautiful mermaid like brushes I’d like to nosey around in]. I received this tapered brush by Spectrum in my Birchbox a few months ago, thanks to Which Beauty Box UK’s influence! It’s soft, its beautiful, it works wonders and you need it!
The Eyes Have It:
It’s been a while since I have had a real moment with eye-makeup and Lancôme’s Doll Eyes Hypnose Mascara, paired with By Terry’s Ombré Black Star is just my idea of a good day! Doll Eyes makes my lashes look long and voluminous without looking like a part of Aragog’s clan. And the By Terry Ombré Black Star, thanks to Anna Gardner’s influence, is the best cream eye shadow I’ve tried to date!
Bridge and Tunnel:
This nail polish is just perfection and one I’ve been wearing quite a lot this past month! There is the finest glitter suspended in a clear polish that is a perfect go to for that put together look! Smith and Cult may just be the best nail polish brand I’ve tried so far and I’ve written a full review on their products here: Smith and Cult .
Read My Lips:
The Clarins Instant Natural Light Lip Perfectors have been a favourite of mine for a very, very long time, but I find that they are especially perfect for the summer. Just a slight shine on the lips, high pigmentation and it smells like cake! Need I say more?! They have a wonderful range of colours too and it gets a big thumbs up from me!
Hi, Blood Sucker:
I cannot express how much I loved the original tale of Edwards Cullen’s great, great, great, great, great bloodsucking grandaddy. For someone who cringes at the cliché vampire culture, I actually found this book to be an interesting read and definitely one I’m going to read again. I can see why people call Stoker’s “Dracula” a classic and I think I can now call myself one of those people too. I think you should check it out for yourself: ‘Dracula’ by Bram Stoker .
I hope you enjoyed this little (okay, pretty long) post on what I’ve been loving this past month, and maybe it inspired you try out some of the things for yourself! If you do, drop by and let me know what you think! Ciao!
