So I’m coming at you all with a very unhealthy but an oh so delicious recipe! While everyone was out partying it up to cheesy music last night, me and my friends decided to stay in and watch Ten Things I Hate About You (classic!). And of course, movie night always calls for munchies and drinks, and I happen to be lucky enough to have a friend who is in possession of a blender. A BLENDER. Hallelujah!
Now while we should really be using that blender to further our meal plans with healthy smoothies, we instead dug out our ice cream tubs, some bananas and whipped up an insanely delicious milkshake recipe that I thought I would share with you! I dare you to try it out for yourself:
This is a pretty quick and easy recipe, with not much effort required (my fellow lazy people can relate with me on this one!). All you need is the following:
One Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
One Scoop of Chocolate Ice Cream
Half a cup of Milk
Handful of chopped bananas
A good tip I can give you is to chop up your bananas the day before and put them in the freezer. Frozen bananas, once blended, give an extra kick of thickness to your smoothies and milkshakes. Now all you need to do is dunk all of the ingredients in a blender and whiz away. Check the consistency of your milkshake and add more milk to thin out the mixture if you prefer. Then, all you need to do is pour out the milkshake, stick a straw in it and you’re good to go! Movie night has never been this good, and you best believe I’ll be making more of these (along with some healthy smoothies, dont you worry 😉 )
