A Few of My Favourite Things…

December is nearly upon us and I cannot believe how quickly November has flown by! On one hand, I want to rejoice because it means Christmas is that much closer. However, I also know that in two weeks time I will have to hand all my essays in, that I am yet to finish writing (sigh, student life) … But hey ho, with another month gone, it’s now time to share with you all the things I have been loving in November. So grab a cup of coffee and let’s dig right in…

Faux Fur Hot Water Bottle:

For those not-so-rare days when heating refuses to work in student halls, I’ve been gravitating towards my fluffy hot water bottle! Perfect for warming up every night, my hot water bottle has been my top favourite and a life saver this month. It’s fluffy cover works perfectly to protect you from the hot water bottle itself and it’s the perfect thing to cuddle with at night! If you fancy adding this wonderful thing to your life (or even as a christmas present for someone) go ahead and click the link below! This was one of my favourite Christmas presents from last year!

‘Snows of Kilimanjaro’ by Ernest Hemingway:

This is one of the books I reluctantly picked up as required reading for my American Literature class, and to my surprise, it has quickly become a favourite this month. A collection of short stories, all concerning Hemingway’s worries about his authorial existence and his life in general. A fantastic book, that showcased Hemingway’s brilliant authorship, and a must read in my opinion!

New Look Burgundy Jumper:

Quite possibly the cosiest jumper I have ever purchased, this burgundy number has kept me nice and warm all month! High-necked and absolutely the plushiest thing ever (if that’s even a word!), I am not ashamed to admit I have been living in this jumper, especially on days when there’s more than just a hint of chilliness in the air. Next time you find yourself in New Look, make sure to give this jumper a look!

Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara:

Lately, I’ve been waking up in the mornings, taking one look in the mirror and recoiling in horror at my own reflection. Ive decided that student life has turned the bags under my eyes into sacks 😦 To bring a little bit of life back into my face, I’ve been using the Rocket Volume Mascara by Maybelline which gives my lashes some serious length and volume, making me look like I really did get eight hours of sleep the night before!

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter:

With this cold weather wreaking a havoc on my skin, I’ve been slathering on Soap and Glory’s the Righteous Butter, which not only smells amazing but has a great price tag too! I would recommend getting a travel size version of this product, for those days when you’re constantly on the go…

“Purpose” by Justin Bieber:

I never, ever thought in a million years that I would be one of those people who openly admitted to liking Bieber’s songs. However, with the release of his recent album ‘Purpose’, I have found myself singing along to “Sorry” and “What do you mean” more times than I care to admit…

I hope you enjoyed my list of favourites this month! Let me know what you’ve been loving this month in the comments below and I’ll see you all in the next post 🙂

We have a spray paint artist who makes art in from of our BX and even he was playing Justin’s music. The song was stuck in my head for the rest of the day!
